IsMyPasswordSecure.com may earn a commission when a reader purchases a product through certain links. The reader’s price is generally not increased because of that commission.
Current status
Our applications to password-manager affiliate programs are pending. Current links to 1Password, NordPass, and other products are ordinary, direct links and are not tracked affiliate links. If approved links are added, a plain-language disclosure will appear close to the link or recommendation.
What commissions do not change
- Providers cannot purchase rankings or conclusions.
- We do not hide material limitations to improve conversion.
- We do not claim personal experience that did not occur.
- We do not recommend unsafe credential practices.
Identifying compensated links
A recommendation containing a compensated link will say, in substance, “We may earn a commission if you purchase through this link.” Labels such as “affiliate link” will not be used as the only explanation.
